In contrast to the neutral macrocycle [UN*(2)(N,C)] (1) [N* = N(SiMe(3))(3); N,C = CH(2)SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))] which was quite inert toward I(2), the anionic bismetallacycle [NaUN*(N,C)(2)] (2) was readily transformed into the enlarged monometallacycle [UN*(N,N)I] (4) [N,N = (Me(3)Si)NSiMe(2)CH(2)CH(2)SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))] resulting from C-C coupling of the two CH(2) groups, and [NaUN*(N,O)(2)] (3) [N,O = OC(═CH(2))SiMe(2)N(SiMe(3))], which is devoid of any U-C bond, was oxidized into the U(V) bismetallacycle [Na{UN*(N,O)(2)}(2)(μ-I)] (5). Sodium amalgam reduction of 4 gave the U(III) compound [UN*(N,N)] (6). Addition of MN(3) or MCN to the (N,C), (N,N), and (N,O) metallacycles 1, 4, and 5 led to the formation of the anionic azide or cyanide derivatives M[UN*(2)(N,C)(N(3))] [M = Na, 7a or Na(15-crown-5), 7b], M[UN*(2)(N,C)(CN)] [M = NEt(4), 8a or Na(15-crown-5), 8b or K(18-crown-6), 8c], M[UN*(N,N)(N(3))(2)] [M = Na, 9a or Na(THF)(4), 9b], [NEt(4)][UN*(N,N)(CN)(2)] (10), M[UN*(N,O)(2)(N(3))] [M = Na, 11a or Na(15-crown-5), 11b], M[UN*(N,O)(2)(CN)] [M = NEt(4), 12a or Na(15-crown-5), 12b]. In the presence of excess iodine in THF, the cyanide 12a was converted back into the iodide 5, while the azide 11a was transformed into the neutral U(V) complex [U(N{SiMe(3)}SiMe(2)C{CHI}O)(2)I(THF)] (13). The X-ray crystal structures of 4, 7b, 8a-c, 9b, 10, 12b, and 13 were determined. 相似文献

The rotational spectrum of cyanoacetaldehyde (NCCH(2)CHO) has been investigated in the 19.5-80.5 and 150-500 GHz spectral regions. It is found that cyanoacetaldehyde is strongly preferred over its tautomer cyanovinylalcohol (NCCH═CHOH) in the gas phase. The spectra of two rotameric forms of cyanoacetaldehyde produced by rotation about the central C-C bond have been assigned. The C-C-C-O dihedral angle has an unusual value of 151(3)° from the synperiplanar (0°) position in one of the conformers denoted I, while this dihedral angle is exactly synperiplanar in the second rotamer called II, which therefore has C(s) symmetry. Conformer I is found to be preferred over II by 2.9(8) kJ/mol from relative intensity measurements. A double minimum potential for rotation about the central C-C bond with a small barrier maximum at the exact antiperiplanar (180°) position leads to Coriolis perturbations in the rotational spectrum of conformer I. Selected transitions of I were fitted to a Hamiltonian allowing for this sort of interaction, and the separation between the two lowest vibrational states was determined to be 58794(14) MHz [1.96112(5) cm(-1)]. Attempts to include additional transitions in the fits using this Hamiltonian failed, and it is concluded that it lacks interaction terms to account satisfactorily for all the observed transitions. The situation was different for II. More than 2000 transitions were assigned and fitted to the usual Watson Hamiltonian, which allowed very accurate values to be determined not only for the rotational constants, but for many centrifugal distortion constants as well. Two vibrationally excited states were also assigned for this form. Theoretical calculations were performed at the B3LYP, MP2, and CCSD levels of theory using large basis sets to augment the experimental work. The predictions of these calculations turned out to be in good agreement with most experimental results. 相似文献

A synthetic procedure yielding a mixture of Z- and E-1-propenyl isocyanide (CH(3)CH═CHNC) is described. The microwave spectrum of this mixture has been recorded in the 12-100 GHz spectral range, and the spectra of the Z and E isomers have been assigned for the first time. Most transitions of the Z form were split into two components of equal intensity due to tunneling of the methyl group, which allowed the barrier to internal rotation of this group to be determined as 4.0124(12) kJ/mol by fitting 568 transitions with a maximum value of J = 46 using the computer program Xiam. This fit had a root-mean-square deviation as large as 4.325. The same transitions were therefore fitted anew using the more sophisticated program Erham. This fit has a rms deviation marginally better (4.136) than the Xiam fit. No split MW lines were found for E-1-propenyl isocyanide. The absence of splittings is ascribed to a barrier to internal rotation of the methyl group that is significantly higher than the barrier of the Z isomer. It is concluded that the barrier must be larger than 6 kJ/mol for the E form. The experimental work was augmented by quantum chemical calculations at CCSD/cc-pVTZ, B3LYP/cc-pVTZ, and MP2/cc-pVTZ levels of theory. The CCSD method predicts rotational constants of the Z and E forms well. The B3LYP barriers to internal rotation of a series of substituted propenes were calculated and found to be in good agreement with experiments. Calculations of the quartic centrifugal distortion constants of the two 1-propenyl isocyanides by the B3LYP and MP2 methods were less successful. 相似文献

The millimeter-wave rotational spectrum of an organomercury compound, ethylmercury hydride, has been recorded and assigned for the first time. The spectroscopic study is complemented by quantum chemical calculations taking into account relativistic effects on the mercury atom. The very good agreement between theoretical and experimental molecular parameters validates the chosen ab initio method, in particular its capability to predict accurate quartic centrifugal distortion constants related to this type of compound. Estimations of the nuclear quadrupole coupling constants have less predictive power than those of the structural parameters, but are good enough to satisfy the spectroscopic needs. In addition, the orientation of the axis of the H-Hg-C bonds deduced from the experimental nuclear quadrupole coupling constants compares well with the corresponding ab initio value. From the good agreement between experimental and theoretical results, together with the observation of the six most abundant isotopes of mercury, ethylmercury hydride is unambiguously identified as the product of the chemical reaction described here, and its calculated equilibrium geometry is confirmed. 相似文献

New organic–inorganic hybrid structure based on paradodecatungstate clusters and imidazolium cations
An organic–inorganic hybrid material based on paradodecatungstate anions and imidazolium cations, Na2(HIm)8(H2W12O42)·10H2O (HIm: imidazolium), has been synthesized under mildly acidic conditions. This compound was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR and UV–visible spectroscopies, and thermogravimetric and differential thermal analyses. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group with a = 11.6945(8) Å, b = 12.4782(6) Å, c = 14.0952(9) Å, α = 106.041(3)°, β = 109.338(2)°, γ = 100.249(3)°, V = 1781.0(3) Å3, and Z = 2. The crystal structure exhibits an infinite 1D inorganic structure built from [H2W12O42]10? clusters and sodium cations; adjacent chains are further joined up by hydrogen-bonding interactions between protonated imidazole cations, water molecules, and polyoxoanions, to form a 3D supramolecular architecture. 相似文献

The flavonoid quercetin is known to reduce the α-tocopheroxyl radical (˙TocO) and reconstitute α-tocopherol (TocOH). Structurally related polyphenolic compounds, hydroxy-2,3-diarylxanthones (XH), exhibit antioxidant activity which exceeds that of quercetin in biological systems. In the present study repair of ˙TocO by a series of these XH has been evaluated using pulse radiolysis. It has been shown that, among the studied XH, only 2,3-bis(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-9H-xanthen-9-one (XH9) reduces ˙TocO, though repair depends strongly on the micro-environment. In cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) micelles, 30% of ˙TocO radicals are repaired at a rate constant of ~7.4 × 10(6) M(-1) s(-1) by XH9 compared to 1.7 × 10(7) M(-1) s(-1) by ascorbate. Water-soluble Trolox (TrOH) radicals (˙TrO) are restored by XH9 in CTAB (rate constant ~3 × 10(4) M(-1) s(-1)) but not in neutral TX100 micelles where only 15% of ˙TocO are repaired (rate constant ~4.5 × 10(5) M(-1) s(-1)). In basic aqueous solutions ˙TrO is readily reduced by deprotonated XH9 species leading to ionized XH9 radical species (radical pK(a) ~10). An equilibrium is observed (K = 130) yielding an estimate of 130 mV for the reduction potential of the [˙X9,H(+)/XH9] couple at pH 11, lower than the 250 mV for the [˙TrO,H(+)/TrOH] couple. The present study quantitatively analyses the gated photochromism and the acidity photomodulation properties of a diacid dithienylethene compound. Photoisomerisation between the open and closed isomers was investigated by UV/visible and (1)H NMR spectroscopy. It was found that the photocyclisation quantum yield of the diacid form was remarkably high (around 90%). Partial neutralisation of the open isomer revealed a gated photochromism as the photocyclisation quantum yield of the mono- and dianion were 50 and 67%, respectively. A considerable photomodulation of the acidity was observed: the closed isomer is more acid than the open one by more than one pK(a) unit. This effect has been shown to be exploitable for a reversible photo-acid generation. This is the first time that a complete quantitative investigation that allows for the determination of the main photochromic, spectral and thermodynamic parameters of a base-sensitive photochromic diarylethene has been carried out. 相似文献

The nature of the reactivity of the "yl" oxygens has been a subject of constant interest for a long time in uranyl chemistry. Thus, the electron-donor ability of the equatorial ligands plays an important role in the nature of the uranyl U=O bond. In this paper, a combination of near-edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) spectroscopy and both ground-state and time-dependent density functional theory (DFT) calculations have been used to examine the effect of equatorial plane ligation on the U=O bonding in two uranyl complexes: [UO(2)(py)(3)I(2)] and [UO(2)(CN)(5)][NEt(4)](3). By coupling experimental data and theory, spectral features observed in the oxygen K-edge NEXAFS spectra have been assigned. Despite the inert character of the U=O bond, we observe that the electron-donating or withdrawing character of the equatorial ligands has a measurable effect on features in the NEXAFS spectra of these species and thereby on the unoccupied molecular orbitals of {UO(2)}(2+). 相似文献

Shannon gave a lower bound in 1959 on the binary rate of spherical codes of given minimum Euclidean distance ρ. Using nonconstructive codes over a finite alphabet, we give a lower bound that is weaker but very close for small values of ρ. The construction is based on the Yaglom map combined with some finite sphere packings obtained from nonconstructive codes for the Euclidean metric. Concatenating geometric codes meeting the TVZ bound with a Lee metric BCH code over GF(p), we obtain spherical codes that are polynomial time constructible. Their parameters outperform those obtained by Lachaud and Stern (IEEE Trans Inf Theory 40(4):1140–1146, 1994). At very high rate they are above 98% of the Shannon bound. 相似文献
